Preparing for YOUR session!

Soon after booking your session:

HAIR AND MAKEUP?

As soon as you book your date, feel free to message me with any questions you have. If you'd like to book professional hair and make-up, I'd be happy to get your scheduled with my preferred artists!

OUTFITS

Start planning your outfits! The number of included outfits depends on the session type booked.

Standard package: 3 included outfits

Premium package: 4 included outfits

Ultimate package: 5 included outfits

When choosing your outfits, remember:

1. Include VARIETY! (If your outfits are all short and tight, the posing in your gallery might not be as varied if we cannot sit, squat, etc)

2Wear types of clothing that make you feel your best! Look for styles and colors that represent your style and work well with your body type.

3 Have FUN with it! Pick one outfit that's a little outside of your comfort zone OR is styled more than you'd normally wear. (I'd LOVE to photograph more poufy skirts!)

Soon after booking your session:

LOCATIONS

If you booked the Standard Session package, you can choose your favorite MBP Preferred Location: MarieBrockPhotography.pixieset.com/preferred

If you booked the Premium or Ultimate Session package, you may use MBP Preferred Locations or we can shoot anywhere in the Dallas area! You may choose 2-3 locations with these packages.

Approximately three to four weeks before your session, please text me photos of your outfits and locations you'd like to use. If you're not set on a specific location, feel free to message me with questions or location-inspo photos! I love to help pick outfits that match your style and session outfits!

(Additional fees may apply for further-distance locations or to rent a studio or other venue.)

2-3 Weeks before your Session:

TEXT ME! (or email me. or DM me.)

If we haven't already discussed it, please send me photos of your outfits and your location ideas/choice! When taking photos of your outfits, please try them on or lay them out. Include shoes and any accessories you have planned. If you have questions or are still making final decisions, THAT'S OKAY, and I'm always happy to help along the way.

Hair:

Now's the time for a trim or to freshen up your existing color/highlights, but do NOT, under any circumstances, make drastic changes to your hair cut or color! We want your Senior Portraits to be timeless and to reflect who you were throughout high school, no need for that spontaneous, (possibly regrettable) hair-change to live in infamy, framed on your parents' walls.

ONE WEEK before your Session:

Organize all of your outfits. Make sure you have planned all of your outfits with accessories, jewelry, etc. Try on all of your outfits and make sure everything fits well, and you have the correct undergarments needed.

The BIG DAY!

Drink lots of water.

Check times, and. make sure you give yourself plenty of drive time to account for traffic, etc.

Bring: water, and any supplies/tools you may need for hair or makeup touch-ups during your session.

If you have HMU: Arrive with clean and dry hair and skin. Feel free to bring pinterest inspo pics with you. Feel free to tip your HMUArtist if you love their work!
